Sometimes his thoughts were expressed in words like: "No one understands" "You'd be better off without me" "There's no hope… it'll always be this way" ... followed by a laconic and nearly inaudible "good-bye" But he was never taken seriously by friends… until this very last day When, reaching for the warmth felt so long ago He dived into the ocean depths… and went deeper and deeper Until the pain of being himself began to pass. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
